We are very pleased to welcome Sushma Maharaj, formerly of Squire Patton Boggs, to expand our regulatory and projects team.
Sushma has extensive experience of advising a full range of clients in the clean energy and low carbon space including project sponsors, corporations, financial institutions, governments and regulatory bodies - both within the UK and abroad. Her experience includes a nine month secondment at the Northern Irish electricity regulator, a three month secondment at British Energy and a seven month secondment at Smartest Energy. She recently advised Social Energy on the establishment of a battery aggregation business and also on the establishment of an electricity supply business in the UK. Sushma was previously Director and Of Counsel at Squire Patton Boggs and Greenberg Traurig Maher respectively and also worked at Dentons, King & Wood Mallesons and DLA Piper.
